Serve while the toast is still warm.

Rosemary is not just for roasts: paired with citrus zest in a buttery shortbread, it becomes the cookie people cannot place and cannot stop eating. You'll need: 2 cups flour 1 cup butter, softened 0.5 cup sugar 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, minced Zest of one lemon and one orange Pinch of salt Cream butter and sugar, work in the rest until it just comes together, press into a pan, and bake at 325 until pale gold, about 30 minutes.
